Daddy Daughter Day

Momma celebrated getting home from 2 weeks away by immediately diving in to another 30 hour shift at work, leaving Daddy and Charlotte to fend for themselves home alone. So, as is our custom, we celebrated with homemade pizza again, yay!

Here's a delicious Margherita pizza with fresh home-grown basil from the garden. Too early for home-grown tomatoes in Minnesota. :( If you look closely you can see the slice that Charlotte designed herself, and the pizza that she made. Charlotte rolled the dough, chose the toppings, put on the cheese and pepperonis and decided when it looked done. Chef Charlotte created another masterpiece!

No surprise, the slice at 2 0'clock is hers.

And for dessert? Daddy's signature homemade hippie oatmeal flax whole wheat bread!
