Charlotte and Grandpa Mark found some baby squirrels that fell out of the nest. They waited for a long time to see if the mama squirrel would come rescue them. When she didn't, they took them in to see if they could nurse them back to health. One didn't make it through the night. The other one went to live with our neighbors who raise baby rabbits and have more expertise in small mammals. I think so far it is still alive.
And this is our baby squirrel who is always falling out of her nest at night.
Charlotte is having a great time playing with her Auntie Laura and Uncle Justin who are visiting from Pennsylvania. Looks like Grandma Cindy, Aunt Laura, and Charlotte are ready for the ball!
